Her Hero
From the moment he laid eyes on her there was a connection, something special, and I knew deep down inside these two were truly kindred spirits. I often think of those who mean the most to us, the special people we encounter on a daily basis, and tend to miss out on the littlest ones. The tiny heroes. The ones who mean the world to another without even realizing it.
I wistfully imagine them growing up, seven years apart. I think about how protective he’ll be of her, how she’ll admire his every move. I find myself utterly full of love for these two – my biggest and my smallest, and thank my lucky stars he is her hero.
She’s pretty lucky to have him, and I think he’s equally as blessed to have her.
