New Life, New Beginning
I’ve been documenting this final pregnancy of mine through instagram. From the very first day, I began to snap. Cravings, aversions, doctor appointments, growing belly – you name it, I instagram’d it. My handy iPhone has always been available and always convenient. I’ve loved looking back at this journey through my own eyes, from my own perspective. It’s been real, it’s been honest, and it’s been documented.
The fresh palette that begins with a new life is something else. Like a beautiful white canvas, just ready to be crafted and shaped into the unique and amazing person he or she will be. To think, I get the opportunity to help this little one evolve, to guide them into a childhood and then later, adulthood as best as I see fit.
It’s an honor and a challenge and one of my greatest achievements. I feel truly blessed to be a part of this new life, this fresh start – how incredibly convenient that her life begins as the new year starts. Cheers to this fresh palette & cheers to new beginnings!
