Project of the week: Strong and Courageous

Congratulations Amy for being our member of the week. We love the story behind this journal!
“I made this journal for a sweet friend of mine. She moved to Texas after living around the corner from me in Louisiana for 10 years. Her two older sons and my oldest sons were great friends and played together all of the time. Shortly after she moved, she had bronchitis. She continued to be sick off and on until April. She was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I made this journal for her with her boys on the front to remind her to “be strong and courageous”. I received a card from her recently saying how much she loved and appreciated her journal. She said that every time she looks at it she is reminded of how she will fight this cancer to get back to the “fun days like the one in the picture”.
