Water water everywhere
When I first moved North, I was taken back by all the water. Coming from the worst drought in Texas history, the overabundance of water was a foreign concept to me. This land of New England is lush and green and watery. Suddenly I was like a fish in water, back in my element… dipping my toes in the creek each time I crossed our stream.
Spring turns toward summer and rains give way to sunshine. We are left with full rivers and rising lakes and plenty of outdoor playgrounds in which to swim. This is how we spend our summer days. Water, water everywhere.
Sailboats on the Casco Bay, motorboats on the neighboring lake, and kayaks in the marsh that lead to the coast…these are the vehicles of our summer. How do you spend your time during the heat of summer?

Nice picture. Water is such a valuable resource that we should never take for granted.
