I Love

I love family and sunflare and swings,

laughter and cousins and trampolines.

I love newness and familiarity,

fresh snowfall and a surprise bouquet of flowers.

I love dreams and wishes and fears,

secrets shared while children sleep.

I love art and creativity,

inspiration that flows from your lips to mine.

I love the deep breath of tenderness,

finding myself rooted at the center of it all.

I love transition and chaos,

and the peace that comes from the space between.
